About the Department: 

  • Establishment Year–  1982-83.                                                               Faculty of Commerce is a pioneer faculty of this college. June 1983 is the year of establishment of College and of this Faculty. Since the date of establishment till today this is a single largest faculty of this college.
Academic Information: As per present structure of Savitribai Phule Pune University, at UG level three special subjects are taught namely –

1) Business Entrepreneurship

2)Banking and Finance

3) Cost & Work Accounting

After graduation eager students can pursue their post-graduation in the same college because we have PG Department since 1990. At PG level one Elective subject is available i.e. Business Administration

  • Aims and Objectives:- The objectives of the Program are as follows: 
  1. To acquaint and equip students with the knowledge and understanding of emerging commercial, business practices and professional understanding about the stream.
  2. To help students to acquire advanced  knowledge in selecting subjects and areas in Commerce and trade.
  3. To facilitate the students to learn to seek application of knowledge and be able to challenge the knowledge so acquired in practice.
